Teacher and pupils at Seamab

Support Seamab

As a charitable company, Seamab is a non-profit making organisation.

We also work to find funding so that the children have access to a wide range of appropriate activities, particularly during the school holidays. Almost all of the children can’t go home for Christmas since they have either no home to go to or their home base is too fragile to cope with them. We have to raise funds to ensure we have the best resources for our children.

Any major capital projects, such as substantial refurbishment of the bungalows where the children live or, of the school itself, have to be paid for by funds raised from charitable sources. In the past , the school has received grants for specific projects from eg The Rank Foundation, The Robertson Trust, The Gannochy Trust, and the W M Mann Foundation, to name a few.

The day-to-day operation of Seamab School is largely funded by the fees paid by local authorities for each child. Our priority is to provide a high level of care, education and therapy tailored to each child's individual needs.

Your support would make a real and positive difference to our children, and it couldn’t be easier. By clicking on the button opposite you can make a donation.
