Seamab announce new CEO

Seamab welcomes Stuart Provan as CEO

Seamab is delighted to announce the appointment of Stuart Provan as its new Chief Executive. Stuart started in post on 13th July replacing interim CEO Karen Moore. For over 30 years Seamab has cared for and educated children from across Scotland. Many have experienced significant trauma in their early childhood, all have complex needs that are unable to be met in a mainstream setting.

Stuart brings expertise from across a broad range of social care settings, with significant experience of working and leading within residential school settings, including Head of Care and his current position as CEO at Ochil Tower School in Auchterarder.

Stuart said:

“I am passionate about ensuring children with complex needs are given every chance of a positive future. I am delighted to be joining the organisation to build on the fantastic work being delivered by the team. I very much look forward to working with the trustees, staff and children to ensure we do even more for the young people at Seamab. I have for a long time followed Seamab and their progress, I am very pleased to now be part of the team”

Chair of the Board of Trustees Chris Stuart welcomes Stuart’s appointment:
