This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled teacher to lead the development of education in Seamab and be part of our Leadership Team. It is essential the successful candidate brings with them a dynamic and flexible approach and can apply this to the delivery of the Curriculum for Excellence within our unique setting.
You will be responsible for ensuring that we continue to provide a curriculum that is relevant to the needs of all of our learners. As the leader of learning and teaching, you will have a teaching commitment in the school that is appropriate to the level of the post. You will manage the teachers, working closely with the Outdoor Learning Co-ordinator and a team of Education Support Workers. In such a post it is vital that the post holder works closely with the Head of Care for Seamab’s residential service.
Seamab is an established children’s charity specialising in providing residential care and education for children who have experienced significant trauma and are looked after away from home.
