Stuart Provan

Chief Executive

Stuart has been Chief Executive at Seamab since July 2020. Previous to Seamab, Stuart was a CEO at another residential school in Perth and Kinross. Stuart was also an Operational Manager with a national charity overseeing a diverse range of services; a family centre, youth homeless projects, supporting families impacted by disability and being the Registered Manager for the charity’s fostering services.

Stuart’s passion for supporting children and young people within residential services, led to him achieving post graduate qualifications in Advanced Residential Childcare and Child Protection through Strathclyde and Stirling Universities respectively. Stuart has been a key link between the new school project team and Seamab’s staff and children. It has been critical to have the children and staff voices reflected within the finished new school.

Stuart views the journey ahead for Seamab as an exciting opportinity to continue to aspire to achieving excellence in our service delivery and that we continue to do all that we can to fulful the Promise to Scotland’s children and young people.
